Harvey currently holds the following board positions – he is currently a member of the University of Tasmania Council, Chair of the UTAS Audit and Risk Committee and Chairman of the Board of Links Golf Tasmania Pty Ltd.

Harvey previously held the following Board positions – Chair of Board of The Hutchins School, Board member of Gibsons Ltd, Oakdale/Walkabout Sheltered Workshops, St Michaels Collegiate School and Fahan School.
