Douglas joined Wise Lord & Ferguson in 1979 and worked in the Audit Services group for eight years. In order to broaden his knowledge and experience he took up a position within the Business Services group. In 1996, Douglas was part of the management team that developed the new financial services arm of the firm. In July 2000, Douglas progressed to become a Partner.

Douglas is highly skilled at providing tailored structured business advice based on his clients’ aspirations and financial goals. Douglas understands that each client has differing objectives and he sees his role as satisfying these through his proven strategies and insightful advice.
